Plastic is everywhere, and avoiding it in the kitchen can feels impossible. But as the harmful impacts of plastic on the planet, animals, and human health become increasingly clear, I've created WrapWell to address the plastic problem in the kitchen.

What is the plastic problem?

Plastic negatively impacts human health and our environment. Plastic affects human health through exposure to toxic chemicals like BPA, phthalates, and PFAS, which can leach into food, water, and air, leading to hormonal imbalances, reproductive issues, and increased cancer risk. Microplastics, found in drinking water and food, may cause inflammation and disrupt gut health. Add a sentence about enviroment and animals.

The WrapWell Solution

WrapWell reduces plastic use. The fabric I use on my products is 100% cotton with a water-based polyurethane finish. It is not plastic and is fully biodegradable. Even better it is food safe, waterproof, and machine washable. All these properties make it ideal for replacing saran wrap, zip lock bags and plastic bags from the store. I am excited to spread the word on the the benefits and potential of this innovative fabric as a fresh, sustainable solution!
